already fostering?

Our focus is on people, not profit. Our purpose is to support foster carers and build brighter futures for children in the community.

If you’re already fostering with your Local Authority then you’re a part of Foster Wales, the national network of 22 Local Authority fostering services across Wales.

If you’re not with Foster Wales Carmarthenshire, you can transfer over to us. Here’s all you need to know.

how to transfer to us

It’s a straightforward process – simply contact our local team!

We’ll get to know you, work out how fostering with our team might work for you, and if you decide to transfer, we’ll do everything we can to support you to make the move over.

why transfer

Local Authorities hold the responsibility for every single child who needs a foster home. This means it’s not only in our best interest, but it’s our purpose to determine and provide local children, and their foster families, with exactly what they need.

We inspire you to be the best you can be through specialist training and support. At Foster Wales Carmarthenshire, we’re dedicated to offering children in our care nothing but the best. The same goes for our foster carers too.
